Sydum Hall's first away game...
The fanciful place of Sydum Hall came to live once again   This time
the venue was in the deep south, New Orleans to be exact. New
students and alumni from Arizona to Florida, New Orleans to New
York all came out to support their alma mata before the big game
against their LSU rivals.

From the first toast of Friday's Sorority Party until the final bell at
Saturday night's Co-Ed Mixer the atmosphere was both calmly
relaxed on the outside and charged with electricity within; perhaps,
mirroring the weekend's weather.

The hottest teachers, hunk-est jocks, sexiest school girls and
hottest prep-school bad boys all enjoyed an evening with the forever
popular PacMan Band, and entertainment from the sexist Crossing
Guard ever to step foot south of the Mason-Dxon line.

By Sunday morning many students were calling home to see if they
could have permission to go on the next class trip... sking anyone?

As Marion Van Liew (a/k/a George) toasted the crowd that first
evening, "Here's to the Class of 1986".

Cheers!

George, Ann,

Excellent party, we don't know why you chose New Orleans, but it worked out well for us, thank you for inviting us, we had heard
of your parties and now the bar has been set. We would rather swing less and wait for your parties. We are already trying to
arrange our time off for the New Years Eve party and the BVI sailing trip.

We were also curious as to if you can provide contact info for the caterer, we were occupied when she left and didn't have a
chance to obtain it? Or if that violates your privacy policies then perhaps you could give her ours. She will remember M. speaking
with her about food as he is the Director of Food Services for the ....

Take Care,

M. & J. (Rochester)

Hello George,

Thanks for sharing the story of your home when we talked.  It was an interesting tie-in to these types of activities.

You seemed a little "indisposed" as we were leaving at 1:30am.  Just wanted to send a thank you for the invitation.  It was a fun
party and it was evidenced that a lot of planning was put forth.

Also, Happy Belated Birthday!  I hope you and Ann had a good time celebrating.

Perhaps the next time you're in the New Orleans area we'll be a bit more experienced in the lifestyle.

Best Regards,
B. & M.

Ah, more boobs. What could be better? Truly.  ;-)

Seeing as we just spoke, I've deleted most of the email, but still wanted to thank you again for such a great weekend. We had the
most fantastic, fluid-depleting time and can't wait to join you for many more incredible memories that will be etched indelibly into
the pleasure center of our brains. :-)

You and Ann were the consummate hosts and we're grateful to have you now as our friends. It has been challenging to find
intelligent, mature, attractive and cool couples in the lifestyle. You are a shimmering oasis.

Have a great time tonight at the show and please send our best to M. & T., K. & A., and anyone else who might still be partaking
in the weekend's festivities.

Have a safe trip back and we'll be in touch shortly regarding our upcoming trip to New York.

Warmly,

M. and M.

Hey Ann,

R. here.  Just wanted to say thanks again for inviting us to the party last night.

B. and I really did have a great time despite our early departure.  We have only been to one other private party before and did
the same thing.  We both like to meet new friends at these types of parties, however, have never "played" at them...I guess we will
have to work up to that.

Our curiosity for checking out C.'s was satisfied also, it was a pretty cool place to dance and flirt but would definitely never do
anything there.  I like to think that I am more of an exibitionist...but the truth is that I am not when it comes to being intimate...
don't get me wrong though, I will flirt and kiss but that is about all I would do in front of people I don't really know.  B.i s extremely
private so I know he probably would never play with an audience.

With that said, I hope that we didn't give you the wrong impression because like I said, we had a great time and look forward to
seeing you again...perhaps in New York like we talked about??

Hi everybody!

M. and C here, we just wanted to take a moment to send an email out to all of you guys to say thanks for the incredible party. We
were simply astonished at the preparation and organization that was put into making it happen and it was an experience that will
never be forgotten. For all of you out-of-towners we can only say that we hope you enjoyed your experience here in New Orleans
as much as we enjoyed your company and we hope for you all to make a hasty return to our area.

So, as our new friends we would like to share some of our contact information with you all so that you can keep us in the loop
about what's going on in your areas or any upcoming events we may be interested in.  I swear I thought we collected more email
addresses at the party, but we must have lost them in our drunken stupor. I am not completely sure if it was the lust or the alcohol
that was effecting our ability to keep those little white cards, or maybe a combination of the two. Either way if you guys see C. & K.
tell them we said hi and shoot them an email with our info if you don't mind.

Shoot us an email on SLS and we will open our photo galleries for you, and if we played with you we will write ya' a cert too ;)

Hope to hear from you all sooner than later!

M. and C.

Hey George and Ann,

Thanks for inviting us.

We had a nice time…R. is still kicking me for dragging her away from Ann. LOL

Anyway, please keep us on the guest list and let us know any details you have about the San Juan party. We are free that
weekend and just may do it.

Thank you both so much for such an exciting time in New Orleans!

J. and I were so pleased with our trip. I can't wait for the San Juan party!  I will be attending alone and would love info for the
single ladies as soon as possible so I can plan the trip.... that is if you have room for one more.

Although I was hesitant about coming to the first party alone, I felt very comfortable and would have had no problem had I
arrived unescorted.    Thank you again, for a beautiful night!

I am looking forward to being one of your groupies.... a change of pace for me since I'm usually the one with groupies...

Speaking of which the band were great, as was Gigi!

George & Ann,

You keep that fantasy until we can get together again, I now have one of naughty teachers with their hair pulled back, thanks
Ann. Unfortunately we can't make San Juan, but we are trying for New Years, and the BVI sailing trip in May.

You both are great hosts and definitely know how to throw a party we had a great time. In fact we were laughing the next day as
we were both wondering how come we didn't get together with the two of you?

Of course, it may be possible for us to visit "the City" as Ann puts it, and I always thought that meant Chicago where I lived for
many years?  Then again Rochester is always a barrel of fun in the winter.

Take Care,

M. & J.

Dear George,

I do believe sir that you are making me blush!  Again--your quick suggestion about that Spanish dress was pretty effective too,
lingering a sweet taste of regret about requisite timing as I hurried away to a family brunch.

I deeply appreciate the compliment, both because we worked very hard to make things successful for you and, at the more
personal level, because you and Ann are truly extraordinary hosts who know what you are about. Believe me I spend A LOT of
time with hosts, from corporate execs to <*eeek*> motherzillas-of-the-bride.  You and Ann are gracefully tangoing on a tier far
above the crowd.

I enjoyed meeting you both so much. You are interesting, bright and oh yeah, very cute, and beyond all that wonderfully positive
about exactly who you are. It was all a pleasure that I hope to revisit soon.

For years I've imagined and secreted away a whole collection of lush party ideas of a particularly salacious sort but had never
before bumped into the right host, one daring or productive enough to possibly play them out. I daresay that I've now met my
party match. I've long believed that flavor and color, scent and sex are among the truly great gifts and think it could be
spectacular fun to plan a dinner party incorporating these in some particularly hands-on ways. Perhaps someday we can take up
this creative challenge together. No telling what we might come up with when we put our combined evil geniuses to the task!

S. thanks you for having included him in the party invitation. He surprised me by coming home from the auction with three great
pieces of African art from the Houston museum so his weekend was, thankfully, a rewarding one too.

Send my heartfelt greetings to lovely Ann, and if the opportunity arises, to Gigi, and please DO stay in touch.

Thank you for bringing us to the party.

Warmly,
K

Note: We are not certain but we think the caterer may have a crush on George.

Hi George!

Thanks so much, and it was very nice meeting you too!

I'm glad to hear the New Orleans party was such a success...hopefully that means y'all will do it again one day!

I know we can't make the San Juan party but we'll keep checking the site to see if any come up that we can make!

Hi George,

We have finally caught up on sleep but our faces still hurt from the huge smiles that have been there since we set foot in New
Orleans, It was such a great weekend, we had a great time at he Scottsdale Party but New Orleans was over the top!! I think you
blew the minds of many people with the fantastic event. On the way home I  (A.) ran into a couple from the party in the airport, I
don't remember their names but they were still hot from he evening and they were looking for a quiet place to slip into so they
could take care of business before their flight! NICE!!

I so wish we could have stayed and attended the festival with you guys. You and Ann make us feel so welcome and comfortable,
thank you for having us at the house, it has been has been a great treat to meet both of you and get to visit with you. It is friends
like you guys that make the whole lifestyle amazing!

We are trying to decide which event we can make it to next! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,
A. & K.
